1. TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through PHAFS and use of the PHAFS website.

PHAFS is operated by Ebba Eriksson, trading as PHAFS, based in Barcelona, Spain. Full business and contact information is available in the Legal Notice.

By placing an order through PHAFS, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects rights or protections that apply under applicable consumer law.

1.1 Products

PHAFS sells dog accessories, including collars and leashes.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, measurements and other information displayed on the website are accurate.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on the screen or device being used, and minor variations may occur between individual products or production batches.

Customers should review the relevant product information and sizing details before placing an order.

1.2 Prices

Prices displayed on the website include applicable VAT where required.

Any applicable shipping costs are shown before an order is completed.

Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to local customs duties, import taxes or other charges. Further information is available in the Shipping Policy.

1.3 Orders

After an order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

PHAFS may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where an item is unavailable, there is a payment issue, product or pricing information is incorrect, or there is reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, the amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

1.4 Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. PHAFS does not directly store complete payment-card information.

1.5 Delivery

Available shipping destinations, delivery options, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed on the website or at checkout.

Further information is available in the Shipping Policy.

1.6 Returns

PHAFS accepts eligible returns requested within 14 days of receiving an order.

For customers in the EU/EEA, this includes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.

Full return conditions, shipping responsibilities and refund information are set out in the Returns & Refund Policy.

1.7 Product Conformity and Defects

PHAFS products must meet the applicable requirements for product conformity and consumer protection.

For customers covered by Spanish consumer law, new goods currently benefit from a three-year legal guarantee in relation to lack of conformity.

This is separate from the 14-day return period for change-of-mind returns.

If a product is believed to be faulty or does not correspond to the order placed, customers should contact hello@phafs.com with their order number and details of the issue.

1.8 Product Use and Safety

PHAFS collars and leashes are designed for everyday pet use and should be used appropriately and with reasonable care.

For the safety of the dog:

  • Select an appropriate size and ensure the product fits correctly.

  • Inspect collars and leashes regularly for signs of wear, damage, weakened stitching or damaged hardware.

  • Discontinue use if the product shows signs of damage or deterioration.

  • Do not allow dogs to chew collars or leashes.

  • Do not alter or modify the product in a way that may affect its safety.

  • Use the product only for its intended purpose.

Collars and leashes are subject to normal wear over time. Damage caused by chewing, misuse, incorrect sizing, alteration or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.

1.9 Intellectual Property

The PHAFS name, branding, logos, photography, graphics, written content and other original materials are owned by PHAFS or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

PHAFS content may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior permission except where permitted by law.

1.10 Third-Party Services

PHAFS uses third-party services to operate the website and fulfil orders, including e-commerce, payment and delivery providers.

The website may also contain links to third-party websites. Those websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

1.11 Liability

PHAFS is responsible for its products and services to the extent required by applicable law.

PHAFS is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside its reasonable control where applicable law permits such limitation.

1.12 Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to PHAFS, the website or applicable legal requirements.

The Terms applicable to an order are normally those in effect when the order is placed.

1.13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law.

For customers residing elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of their country of residence.

2. RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

PHAFS accepts returns within 14 days of delivery. The following policy explains the conditions for returns, return shipping and refunds.

2.1 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, an incorrect item has been sent, or you believe a product has a manufacturing fault, please contact hello@phafs.com with your order number and details of the issue. Photographs may be requested where relevant.

Where an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied by PHAFS, PHAFS will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping and provide the appropriate remedy.

Please contact us before returning the item so that return arrangements can be provided.

2.2 Return Period

PHAFS accepts returns requested within 14 days of receiving the order for all destinations to which we ship.

To request a return, contact hello@phafs.com within the 14-day period and provide your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

Once a return has been requested, the item(s) must be sent back within 14 days.

For customers in the EU/EEA, this policy includes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.

2.3 Condition of Returned Items

Returned products should be in new, unused and resellable condition.

A collar may be carefully tried on briefly to check size and fit. Products should not be used for walks or everyday wear before being returned.

Products showing signs of use, including dirt, odour, excessive pet hair, scratches, chewing, washing, alteration or other wear, may be subject to a reduction in the refund where their value has been diminished.

2.4 Return Shipping

For standard returns where the customer has changed their mind, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

PHAFS will cover reasonable return shipping costs where an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied.

For customer-arranged returns, we recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage until the return has been processed.

2.5 Refunds

Once a return has been received and checked, the applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.

For EU/EEA customers exercising their statutory right of withdrawal, the refund will also include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order.

Where a customer selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, the additional cost above the standard delivery option will not be refunded.

PHAFS may process the refund once the returned goods have been received or once the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, as applicable.

The time taken for a refund to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.

2.6 Exchanges

PHAFS does not currently offer direct exchanges.

Customers wishing to purchase a different size, colour or product should return the original eligible item and place a new order.

2.7 Contact

All return and refund requests should be sent to:

hello@phafs.com

3. SHIPPING POLICY

PHAFS orders are prepared and dispatched from Barcelona, Spain.

3.1 Order Processing

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days.

Processing may occasionally take longer during launches, promotions, public holidays or periods of unusually high order volume.

If a significant unexpected delay affects an order, PHAFS will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.

3.2 Shipping Destinations

PHAFS ships internationally to the destinations currently available at checkout.

Available shipping destinations may change as PHAFS expands into new markets or in response to regulatory, customs or carrier requirements.

If a destination is not available at checkout, PHAFS does not currently ship there.

3.3 Shipping Costs and Delivery Times

Available delivery options, shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed before an order is completed.

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.4 Tracking

Where tracking is available for the selected delivery service, tracking information will be provided once the order has been dispatched.

3.5 Orders Outside the European Union

Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, taxes, customs-clearance charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated at checkout that these charges are included, they are the responsibility of the recipient.

PHAFS does not control charges imposed by foreign customs or tax authorities.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered may lawfully be imported into the destination country.

3.6 Delivery Problems

If an order appears to be lost, arrives damaged or there is another issue with delivery, customers should contact hello@phafs.com.

PHAFS will work with the customer and relevant delivery provider to investigate the issue and provide the appropriate resolution.
